This privately guided safari offers you the opportunity to get to know Namibia in a very personal way. With you is your professional and experienced safari guide who will enhance your enjoyment of this unique country by making it a fascinating stress-free journey of discovery amidst dramatic scenery.

The flyer presents the itinerary with the sights in great detail on 30 pages:

Photographic support

Marc Stickler is a biologist who, through his scientific work with sharks, mountain gorillas and baboons, found his passion in photography and made it his profession. His camera is his tool for the conservation of nature and wildlife.

Marc is a lecturer at several universities and holds a chair at the University of Salzburg for Creative Photography.

His goal is to bring people closer to the beauty of nature through worldwide photography workshops in wildlife and underwater photography.
Marc is an international Leica Ambassador and his preferred system is the SL2S, for which he also managed the opening campaign.

Marc Stickler is on hand around the clock with advice on wildlife photography.

Local guides and photography

With the best combination of local guides and photography know-how, you will search and find the best photo spots.

The right times...

Besides the right places, the right times are also crucial for a successful photo, and Marc knows all about these, having travelled to Namibia since 2013.

Something for everyone...

Guaranteed to get your money’s worth, the photo safari will be a combination of landscape, wildlife and portrait photography.

The discussion of the daily work is one of the fixed points of the photo safari. Every day there is a detailed picture discussion and recommendations for the coming day.

Vehicles specially equipped for photographers are available exclusively for our group throughout the trip – of course with trained driver/guide.

Optional flight

Optionally, bookable on site, we would like to offer you a unique opportunity to fly over the desert in a fixed-wing aircraft.

Instead of driving to Swakopmund by car, we offer you the option (optional) of flying over the desert and along the coast.

The flight takes you north over the famous Sossusvlei dunes and the Nabib towards the coast. Depending on the weather you will see wrecks, seal colonies. Continue along Sandwich Harbor and Wallis Bay. A highlight of the flight is the EDUARD BOHLEN, a German cargo ship that sank in 1909. The special feature: the ship now lies inland, as the desert has pushed back the ocean.

Organisational matters

The route was discussed and planned by Marc Stickler with local organisations. Particular consideration was given to the possible photographic conditions.

Bookings are made exclusively through a Salzburg travel agency, which takes care of all travel organisation matters for us. This means that we have one contact person from the transfer to the flight and any cancellations and cancellations.
